<br /> <br />RESOLUTION 8713 <br /> <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br />APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A USED UTILITY CART FOR THE PUBLIC <br />WORKS DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, as part of the Public Works Departments maintenance programs, <br />vehicles and equipment are a necessity; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Department has been utilizing the used golf carts <br />which were acquired at the time when the Golf Course was dissolved in 2005; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, $9,000.00 is in the 2017 Vehicle and Equipment Fund Budget, <br />Parks, 460-4360-7030, to purchase a utility cart; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Staff has obtained a quote from Tri State Bob Cat of Little Canada <br />MN for a model 3400 used utility cart in the amount of $7,800.00. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. The City hereby authorizes the purchase of a used 3400 utility cart from Tri- <br />State Bob Cat of Little Canada MN at the cost of $7,800.00 not including <br />sales tax or applicable license fees from account 460-4360-7030. <br /> <br />Adopted this 13th day of February, 2017 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Carol A.
