<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8758 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING THE HIRING OF SYDNEY DISON <br />TO THE POSITION OF POLICE OFFICER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has approved the establishment of an eligibility list for <br />the position of Police Officer for current vacancies in the Police Department, and the <br />Police Civil Service Commission has approved the procedures for establishing an eligibility <br />register to fill these vacancies, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the approved hiring procedures consist of a competitive written <br />examination, training and experience scoring, oral interviews, physical agility testing, a <br />thorough background investigation, physical examination and a psychological examination <br />and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Police Civil Service Commission has certified the eligibility list for <br />the opening, and Sydney Dison is the top candidate, and her background investigation, <br />physical, psychological, and physical agility testing have all been successfully completed, <br />and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff of the Police Department has met with Sydney Dison, and the <br />Chief of Police recommends that she be appointed to the position of Police Officer. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View, Ramsey County, Minnesota does hereby appoint Sydney Dison to the position of <br />Police Officer at the step one rate of pay ($24.98/hour) as indicated in the Law <br />Enforcement Labor Services contract. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 22nd day of May, 2017. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Carol A.
