RESOLUTION 8767 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVE AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH OERTEL ARCHITECTS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Oertel Architects was awarded the design services contract for the Public Works Facility via <br />Resolution 8561 on April 25, 2016; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, additional soil boring were required in the amount of $1,000.00 and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, additional design services related to the structural and mechanical design of the Public <br />Works Facility were required due to the building layout change, value engineering effort and cold storage area <br />adjustments ; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the cost of the additional design services is $25,700; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there was $12,000 contingency as part of the design services contract; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS there is sufficient funding in the Special Projects budget (480-4180-7050). <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, <br />Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. Oertel Architects is authorized to perform the additional design related services due to the building layout <br />change, value engineering effort and cold storage area adjustments for the Public Works Facility. <br /> <br />2. Additional required funding in the amount of $16,000.00 is approved and shall come from the Special <br />Projects Fund (480-4180-7050). <br /> <br />3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all appropriate documents <br />to effectuate the actions contemplated by this Resolution. <br /> <br />4. The Mayor and City Administrator, staff and consultants are hereby authorized and directed to take any <br />and all additional steps and actions necessary or convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this <br />Resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 12th day of June, 2017 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Carol A.
