RESOLUTION 8783 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA APPROVING THE DESIGN, PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF A VEHICLE CHASSIS WASH FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY WHEREAS, the chassis wash was deleted from the design of the Public Works Facility as a cost saving measure; and, WHEREAS, the construction bids were lower than expected and, WHEREAS, the addition of the chassis wash during the current construction is ideal due to the need for some additional plumbing, electrical and concrete work; and, WHEREAS, the cost of adding the chassis wash including design, construction, and equipment purchase is $76,864.33; and, WHEREAS, there is sufficient funding in the Special Projects Budget (480-4180-7050) to cover this cost. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: 1. The addition of the chassis wash including design, construction and equipment purchase for the Public Works Facility is approved. 2. The funding of $76,864.33 for the chassis wash shall come from the Special Projects Fund (480-4180-7050). 3. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to execute all appropriate documents to effectuate the actions contemplated by this Resolution. 4. The Mayor and City Administrator, staff and consultants are hereby authorized and directed to take any and all additional steps and actions necessary or convenient in order to accomplish the intent of this Resolution.
