<br />Item No: 09C <br />Meeting Date: July 10, 2017 <br />Type of Business: CB <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br /> To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br /> <br /> From: Desaree Crane, Assistant City Administrator <br /> <br /> Item Title/Subject: Resolution 8787, Approving the 2017 Mounds View Festival <br />in the Park Agreement <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />For 2017, the City has budgeted $10,500 (Budget Account Number: 100-4110-3900) in <br />support (in-kind donation) of the Festival in the Park event; to pay for City personnel and <br />equipment expenses ($5,500), and for payment of the Fireworks Show ($5,000). The <br />Mounds View Festival in the Park is scheduled for Saturday, August 19, 2017. <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion: <br /> <br />The 2017 Festival in the Park Agreement was reviewed by the City Attorney and the <br />Festival Committee. The President of the Festival Committee, Theresa Cermak, will be <br />present to answer any questions. <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Attached for your approval is the 2017 Festival in the Park Agreement.
