RESOLUTION NO. 8795 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA A Res olution Approving the Hire of Benjamin Geisbauer to the Position of Public Works Maintenance Worker (Sanitary Sewer Division) in the Public Works Department WHEREAS, upon direction from the Mounds View City Council, the Public Works Maintenance Worker (Sanitary Sewer Division) position was advertised; and WHEREAS, six (6) applications were received for the position and three (3) were chosen for interview; and, WHEREAS, Benjamin Geisbauer’s skills and experience were determined to most closely match the duties and responsibilities as outlined in the job description; and WHEREAS, Mr. Geisbauer’s reference checks and driver’s license checks are complete and satisfactory; and WHEREAS, Mr. Geisbauer will be a member of the Public Works Collective Bargaining Unit, and would be subject to the established job classification system with regard to the pay scale as set forth in the Public Works Labor Agreement, and WHEREAS, Mr. Geisbauer qualifies for Level A pay scale based on the criteria set forth by the Public Works Collective Bargaining Unit Agreement, which is currently established at $25.46 per hour; and WHEREAS, Mr. Geisbauer would begin employment on or about Monday, August 14, 2017; and WHEREAS, Mr. Geisbauer would be subject to a twelve (12) month probationary period as stated in the Public Works Labor Agreement; and WHEREAS, Mr. Geisbauer’s employment with the City would be contingent on a satisfactory criminal background checks, a satisfactory drug test, and a satisfactory pre- employment exam. . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council appoints Benjamin Geisbauer to the position of Public Works Maintenance Worker (Sanitary Sewer Division) with employment to commence on or about Monday, August 14, 2017.
