was finalized and included in the March 3, 2007, Work Session packet. It is
hoped that this information will be available to present at the meeting.

County Road 10 Entrance Signs
The City Council reviewed a draft proposal by Sign-A-Rama for the east and
west County Road 10 Entrance Signs. This rendering was similar in size and
shape to one of the entrance signs for the City of White Bear Lake. It also had a
board located below the main sign to be used to recognize various supporters,
sponsors, and civic groups.

The City Council requested that this sign be simplified and a new draft submitted.
The City Council expressed a desire to retain the lower sign board for posting
civic group logos. Attached are two more drafts of these County Road 10
entrance signs. These are noted as Option A and Option B. Also attached, as a
reference, is the draft that was reviewed last month.

Recommendation:
Staff is looking for direction on this matter. Specifically, Staff is looking for
Council direction regarding the development and installation of City entrance
monuments / signs.

Respectfully Submitted,

Greg Lee, Director of Public Works
