These topics are listed below: <br /> <br /> <br />Highlights April 2007-March 2008: <br /> <br />• Conducted opening of 2 new park buildings, 1 at Random Park and 1 at <br />Groveland Park <br />• Replaced playground equipment at Hillview Park <br />• Reconstructed Oakwood Park including new soccer fields and new <br />playground equipment <br />• Formalized a Program for Memorials within City Parks <br />• Conducted Public Meetings to discuss usage of open space associated <br />with Greenfield Park <br />• Approved new Park signs, Hillview has been installed, all others to be <br />installed in 2008 <br />• Created Volunteer Coach of the Year Award in Honor of Patrick “Homer” <br />Holmes <br />• Created new Parks Promotional Video with the help of Cable Coordinator <br />and Staff <br />• Completion of Parks and Recreation flyer <br />• Approved funds to install new equipment at Lakeside Lions Park in <br />partnership with the Spring Lake Park Lions and the City of Spring Lake <br />Park
