RESOLUTION NO. 8986 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING PURCHASE OF ADDITIONAL ARCVIEW® LICENSES, <br />ADDITIONAL SMART PHONES/CONTRACT UPGRADES AND PROCURE QUOTES <br />FOR GPS LOCATION DEVICE <br />WHEREAS, the City Council directed staff to research asset management software <br />for Public Works to manage publicly owned infrastructure, and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Council included this directive in the probation requirements for <br />Public Works Director Don Peterson and Administrator Nyle Zikmund, and, <br />WHEREAS, Director Peterson provided council information and recommendation at <br />their July 2, 2018 workshop; and, <br />WHEREAS, the council was supportive of the technology and recommendation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council <br />approves the allocation of up to $2,400 for additional ArcView licenses, acquiring additional <br />smart phones as needed and as current approved budgets permit and to acquire quotes <br />for a GPS location device. <br />Adopted this 9th day of July, 2018. <br />Carol Mueller, Mayor <br />Nyle ikmu , City Administrator <br />(sial)• -'�, � , <br />
