RESOLUTION NO. 4436 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING RECYCLING GRANT REQUEST TO RAMSEY COUNTY <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County is accepting applications for use of <br />SCORE funds to improve recycling participation by the public; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is eligible to apply for a <br />grant to provide administrative and promotional activities <br />intended to improve recycling participation among city residents <br />through education, awareness, and incentives; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View has <br />determined that this is an appropriate use of city resources and <br />that increasing recycling participation benefits the public <br />health, safety, and welfare of the community as a whole. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED to approve the application for <br />SCORE funding (attached) and authorize acceptance of any <br />allocated funding. <br />Adopted this 25th day of October, 1993. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />City Administrator <br />
