STAFF REPORT <br /> PAGE TWO <br /> NOVEMBER 1, 1993 <br /> Of note is Section 109. 02 Subdivision 3 which states that the City <br /> Council may " . . . impose any conditions or restrictions it deems <br /> necessary or advisable in the public interest in the motion <br /> granting any license hereunder, including but not being limited to, <br /> conditions relating to the hours of operation, the lighting of the <br /> business and the installation and maintenance of shrubbery, fencing <br /> and grounds around the business" . <br /> Subdivision 4 of Section 109.02 goes on to add that "The Council <br /> may also impose any such conditions or restrictions by motion at <br /> any time after the issuance of a license hereunder" . <br /> RECOMMENDATION: This information is provided for discussion <br /> purposes relating to the regulation of automobile dealerships. <br /> Staff awaits City Council direction. <br />
