RESOLUTION NO. 4450 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION DENYING THE REQUEST BY VICTORIA BOWERS <br />FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A RESIDENTIAL DOG KENNEL AT <br />8351 GROVELAND ROAD, PLANNING CASE NO. 369-93 <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has reviewed the <br />request of Victoria Bowers for a Conditional Use Permit to allow <br />the establishment of a residential dog kennel at 8351 Groveland <br />Road; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Mounds View <br />Municipal Code and recognizes that the Code allows for residential <br />dog kennels with a Conditional Use Permit; and <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 40.25 Subdivision C (1-6) outlines the <br />criteria by which all Conditional Use Permit requests are reviewed; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed <br />the request and recommends approval in resolution no. 368-93. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City <br />Council denies the requested Conditional Use Permit based upon the <br />following: <br />1. Adequate facilities are not provided for the humane <br />treatment of the animals. <br />2.
