No comments to supplement this report <br />- Comments attached. ___ <br />ExplanationiSummary (attach supplement sheets as eettssetYJ <br />snfl = <br />In April of 1992, the Mounds View City Council authorized City staff to <br />proceed with the much needed project of recodifying the Mounds View <br />Municipal Code. It had been several years since any in-house <br />recodification had taken place and the Municipal Code had never been <br />recodified professionally. By August of 1992, a recodification vendor was <br />selected and the process began. <br />The vendor was supplied with a copy of the 1988 code, all previous <br />ordinances and any supporting documentation that was requested. City staff <br />was then presented with a code work book that asked for clarification on <br />items and each department responded to issues that affected them. <br />Although there were numerous changes made to the municipal code, none of <br />them were policy in nature. only grammatical, obsolete and conflicting <br />language and reorganizational changes were made. <br />Presented for your consideration is the newly recodified Mounds View <br />Municipal Code. <br />Tim Cruikshank, Asst. to City Admin. <br />RECQ -M N ATI N <br />Waive reading and approve introduction of ordinance No. 532, making the <br />recodified code the City of Mounds View's official legal document. <br />
