RESOLUTION NO. 341-92 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF THE REQUEST BY <br /> LONNIE MADISON FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A <br /> RESIDENTIAL DOG KENNEL ON HIS PROPERTY AT 5200 JEFFERY DRIVE <br /> PLANNING CASE NO. 339-91 <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed <br /> the request of Lonnie Madison for a Conditional Use Permit to allow <br /> the establishment of a residential dog kennel at 5200 Jeffery <br /> - • _ •• <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the Mounds <br /> View Municipal Code and recognizes that the Code allows for <br /> residential dog kennels with a Conditional Use Permit; and <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 40. 25 Subdivision C (1-6) outlines the <br /> criteria by which all Conditional Use Permit requests are reviewed. <br /> WHEREAS, past complaints on the site have not been <br /> remediated; four complaints have been received in the past year. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View <br /> Planning Commission recommends to the City Council denial of the <br /> requested Conditional Use Permit based upon the following: <br /> 1. Control and restraint of animals continues to be a <br /> problem on the kennel site. <br /> BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the Planning Commission <br /> directs Staff to forward this resolution to the City Council prior <br /> to approval of the minutes. <br /> Adopted this 15th day of July, 1992 . <br /> (ATTEST) <br /> Chairman <br /> (SEAL) <br /> Planner <br />
