Mounds View City Council Page Five <br /> 11lar MeetingJuly 27, 1992 <br /> Harrington further stated that he was unable to get ahold of the applicant, <br /> but he stated a grading plan could be provided and, in his opinion, the <br /> letter was more of a concern than a criticism to deny the Conditional Use <br /> Permit. <br /> Pat Stampfle, applicant, stated that the grading was part of his plan and <br /> that he would grade so the Johnsons would not have undue runoff from the <br /> roof of this building. <br /> Mayor Linke stated thatsometimes in the past the City had asked that the <br /> applicant remove the door so the old garage could not be used as a garage. <br /> The Planning Commission has asked that a driveway to the exiting building <br /> be removed to assure that it is not used as a garage. <br /> Harrington stated that old collector cars could be stored in this building, <br /> but not a licensed vehicle. <br /> Richard Hedin, 8040 Long Lake Road, asked what the size would be of the <br /> oversized accessory building and what is the size of the existing building. <br /> Harrington stated the new building would be 780 square feet and the existing <br /> garage is 286 square feet. <br /> •ncilmember Rickaby asked what the existing driveway was composed of. <br /> Stampfle stated it was blacktop. <br /> Councilmember Rickaby stated this should help the runoff problem in that <br /> impervious surface was being removed. <br /> Mayor Linke closed the public hearing at 7:26 p.m. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Rickaby to adopt Resolution No. 4262 <br /> Approving the Request by Patrick Stampfle for a Conditional Use <br /> Permit to Allow An Oversized Accessory Building on Their 'Property <br /> at 70-74 Rnol-l.wood Drive <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> ' Mayor Linke opened the public hearing at 7:27 p.m. to consider the 1992 Long <br /> Term Financial Plan. <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, reviewed the steps taken by the City <br /> Council in formulating the 1992 Long Term Financial Plan and its use in the <br /> budgetary process. Orduno stated that there had been Council Work Sessions <br /> in June and July with regard to this Plan and that a copy of the document <br /> has been in City Hall for public review. Orduno explained that this <br /> /b <br /> current is used as a window to take a look at the needs of the community <br /> er the next five years. <br />
