RESOLUTION NO. 4277 <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION OF INSUFFICIENCY FOR THE PETITION FOR REPEAL <br /> OF RESOLUTION NO. 4253 : RESOLUTION APPROVING THE <br /> DEVELOPMENT OF GREENFIELD ESTATES <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council in and for the City of <br /> Mounds View approved Resolution No. 4253 on July 13, 1992; and <br /> idH-EREAS onMonday, August 2-4 1992--a-petition to <br /> repeal Resolution No. 4253 was presented to the Clerk- <br /> Administrator; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 5.03 of the City Charter provides <br /> that upon receipt of a completed petition, the Clerk- <br /> Administrator shall examine the petition as to its sufficiency <br /> and report to the Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the petition has been duly examined by the <br /> Clerk-Administrator and found to be insufficient to meet <br /> Charter requirements, Sections 5. 02 and 5. 03 ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the basis for a declaration of <br /> Insufficiency is that the petition fails to meet the required <br /> 15% of the total number of electors who cast their votes for <br /> president at the last presidential election; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has been advised by its legal <br /> counsel that the petition is not authorized by the laws of the <br /> State of Minnesota. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council <br /> in and for the City of Mounds View does hereby declare <br /> Insufficient the petition to repeal Resolution No. 4253 <br /> Approving the Development of Greenfield Estes. <br /> Adopted this 2 day of September, 1992 . <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Mayor <br /> (SEAL) <br /> Clerk-Administrator <br />
