Wuori suggested that <br /> perhaps the size of the newsletters could be cut down and the City <br /> could send out a couple of large brochures with Park and Recreation <br /> information and more of the small newsletters. <br /> Mayor Linke commented that he is a member of the Charter Commission <br /> and will bring this up at the Commission's meeting in November. <br /> PORTS• <br /> Report of Councilmembers <br /> Councilmember Blanchard - No report. <br /> Councilmember Quick - No report. <br /> Councilmember Wuori - No report. <br /> Councilmember Rickaby - No report. <br /> Report of Mayor Linke: <br /> Mayor Linke reported that a week or so ago the Irondale <br /> Marching Band part1 ipatin f e d-show competition-in <br /> .onors. <br /> Report of Administrator: <br /> 1. Samantha Orduno announced that there will be a meeting of <br /> the Golf Course Task Force on October 8 at 6:00 p.m. at <br /> City Hall. The public is welcome to attend. <br /> Ma-y-or _Linke-_stated that he would like to attend occasionally <br /> and there are two other Councilmembers on the Task Force. <br /> This would be a quorum so he asked staff to post a notice <br /> to this affect. Orduno reported that this had already <br /> • been done and staff would continue posting notice when <br /> these meetings occur. <br />
