The purpose of the program is <br /> to better facilitate the information and service needs of the Council, <br /> staff and community. The system will provide the mechanism to safely <br /> and accurately catalogue, store and retrieve information in a timely <br /> manner. <br /> Expenditures in the ensuing years will include necessary file storage <br /> units and on-going records retention training for staff. <br /> Capital Expenditures <br /> 1993 Lateral Files $ 2,100 <br /> 1994 Lateral Files $ 2,000 <br /> * Annual implementation of a Compensation Plan which was adopted <br /> in 1992 and provides for staff compensation based on historical <br /> compensation patterns, professional and performance standards. <br /> * Maintenance of the City's Pay Equity Plan.State statutes require an <br /> on-going system of maintaining a municipalities pay equity system. <br /> In 1991;the-Department-of plo s-r-ece-ve rulemal�,in_ <br /> authority from the _State Legislature. -__ The rules require a <br /> maintenance program whereby every job is evaluated once every <br /> three years.
