Ric Minetor, Director of Public Works/City Engineer, reviewed <br /> Staff Report No. 92-152C regarding Approval of Plans for the <br /> New Water Tower. Minetor stated that the City is in receipt of the <br /> plans for the new water tower from Short-Elliott-Hendrickson and <br /> these plans and specifications were found to be in order by staff. <br /> Minetor also reported on the lighting of the water tower. There would <br /> be three logos on the tower. Minetor stated that to light the logos <br /> would cost approximately $8, 000 each and lighting of the column would <br /> be approximately $8,000 plus $11,800 per year for electricity, bulb <br /> replacement and fixture maintenance. <br /> A discussion followed at the Council level regarding Council's concern <br /> over the cost of the lighting. It was decided by Council to have the <br /> lighting of the tower go out for bid along with the plans and <br /> specifications and see what the total cost would be in order to make <br /> a final determination. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Blanchard to approve the plans for the <br /> new water tower and direct staff to advertise for bids for this <br /> project. <br /> 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> 6 . Ric Minetor, Director of Public Works/City Engineer, reviewed <br /> Staff Report No. 92-154C regarding the approval of Assessment <br /> Agreement-for-Mounds-View Business P k South. Minetor stated <br /> that this is an amendment to the privinus- agree <br /> the minimum assessed value to be used by the County Assessor's <br /> office. Minetor further stated that this is in accordance with <br /> the Redevelopment Contract between the City and Everest Development. <br /> Minetor also stated that staff has reviewed the agreement and finds <br /> it to be in order and appropriate. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Rickaby/Quick to approve the Assessment Agreement <br /> and authorize the Mayor and Clerk-Administrator to_sign n_this --_- <br /> agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> S <br />
