MULTI-JURISDICTIONAL SENIOR CENTER SERVICE DISTRICTS <br /> This legislation would allow four units of government to provide a public service through the establishment <br /> of a Multi-jurisdictional Senior Service Center utilizing joint powers authorities as authorized by law. <br /> • The goveming boards of this Multi-jurisdictional Senior Center shall be composed of representatives <br /> appointed by the Councils from the four participating units of government. Their appointment or <br /> term of office shall be determined through the Joint Powers Agreement <br /> • Budgets shall be approved by the governing board of the Mufti jurisdictional Senior Center. <br /> • The first year total budget of the Muiti-jurisdictional Senior Center shall establish the base by which <br /> the maximum annual levy will be derived.
