RESOLUTION NO. 6996 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING SEVERANCE FOR TIM PITTMAN <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Tim Pittman has resigned from the Mounds View Public Works Department <br />effective December 15, 2006; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused vacation time is 205.0 hours as of <br />December 27, 2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the balance of accrued and unused sick leave time is 960.0 hours effective <br />December 27, 2006; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Tim Pittman’s current rate of pay of $28.66 per hour; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the maximum payout of vacation time will be 205.0 hours x $28.66 = <br />$5,875.30; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the maximum potential payout of sick time will be 960.0 hours x 50% x <br />$28.66 = $13,756.80. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approve a <br />one-time payout of vacation time in an amount not to exceed $5,875.30 and payout of sick time <br />not to exceed $13,756.80. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 8th day of January, 2007. <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />(seal)
