<br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7013 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING A MINOR SUBDIVISION OF 8184 EASTWOOD ROAD <br />REQUESTED BY ABIDING SAVIOR LUTHERAN CHURCH; <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE NO. MI06-002 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Property owner Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, located at 8211 Red <br />Oak Drive, (the Applicant) has requested approval of a minor subdivision of 8184 Eastwood <br />Road, property zoned R-1, Single Family Residential, legally-described as follows: <br /> <br />The North 101.25 Feet of the South 810 Feet of the East 528 Feet of the <br />West 1,584 Feet of the Northeast Quarter of Section 6, Township 30, <br />Range 23, subject to easements for road and utility purposes. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Applicant proposes to split off the existing home and 16,025 square <br />feet (Parcel B) from the above described parcel to create a presently non-buildable 34,900 <br />square foot lot (Parcel A) with 10.72 feet of access onto Eastwood Road; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, while proposed Parcel B satisfies all City Code requirements, Parcel A <br />would be non-conforming as a buildable lot in that it would not satisfy the minimum street <br />frontage requirement of 75 feet; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the Applicant’s request for a <br />minor subdivision and based on the Applicant’s desire to combine Parcel A with the rest of the <br />Church property and having determined that the requested subdivision pertaining to Parcel B <br />is in conformance with Chapters 1104, 1201, and 1202 of the Municipal Code, has <br />recommended approval of the subdivision request to the City Council. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves <br />the minor subdivision of 8184 Eastwood Road subject to the following stipulations: <br /> <br />1. The Applicant shall arrange to have the Certificate of Survey revised to illustrate <br />the following proposed drainage and utility easement areas: <br /> <br />The north and south 5.0 feet and the east and west 10.0 feet of Parcel B <br /> <br />And shall arrange to add the following language to the Certificate of Survey: <br /> <br />The proposed drainage and utility easements shown on Parcel B will be dedicated by a <br />separate document and recorded by the Property Owner with Ramsey County.
