Darwin Lindahl, Short-Elliott-Hendrickson stated that the site plan was discussed at the neighborhood meeting and at the Work Session with the Council. The Planning Commission had concerns with adjacent neighboring resident concerns regarding the fact that there would be ample screening. This site plan was designed to meet requirements of the City which was if a property is to abut a residential property there had to be a five foot high solid wooden fence. This landscaping site is pleasant and aesthetic . A fence could create a maintenance problem in the future. The plan would be to place 6 to 10 foot high evergreens and locusts shrubs and a berm. - Jackie Johnson, 2287 County Road H2, like the density. She stated she doesn't want to see cars and the building. Ms. Johnson's concern was the lighting. How would the lights be timed and how late would the lights be on. Ms. Johnson wanted to know if the lighting would impact the homes, but• the type of lighting planned looked decent. Mayor Linke stated that the hours of operation of the dealership were 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. Darwin Lindahl of SEH explained the lighting plan for the site. Mr. Brats commented that the tree issue should be discussed and the lighting left the way it was. Mayor Linke indicated that the lights would shine downward and not affect the nP.ighbors_. Nadine Johnson stated that she went out to look at the dealership in White - Bear owned by Saturn and at 1:00 a.m. the lights were still on while other dealers in the area had no lights on. Mayor Linke stated that the lighting could be reviewed after one year. Mayor Linke suggested review at renewal of Saturn's license. Ann Zachman, 5301 St. Stephens Street asked where the test driving would be done. Darwin Lindahl of SEH showed an overhead of the test driving pattern that Saturn would use.
