The current <br /> remodeling in the administrative offices was also discussed at that time and <br /> was authorized to proceed. Staff felt that it is appropriate to discuss the <br /> police area again. If we were to decide to proceed with remodeling the <br /> treatment area or other minor changes, the Madsen-Johnson (the contractor <br /> building the new water treatment plant) could do the work as a change order <br /> to our current contract, or a separate contract could be awarded. <br /> The decision should be made prior to the removal of the existing treatment <br /> plant equipment as there could be some savings if remodeling is incorporated <br /> at the time of equipment removal.
