Mermaid Sign Request <br />April 9, 2007 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br />The conditions of permit approval are as follows: <br /> <br />1. No off-site advertising shall be allowed on the proposed sign. Advertisements shall be <br />limited to activities, services or products available ON-PREMISES. This restriction shall <br />not apply for non-profit activity, community events or other civic-related notices. <br /> <br />2. The intensity of the light emanating from the sign shall not annoy, disturb, distract or <br />otherwise pose a hazard to motorists, aircraft and/or pedestrians. Owner agrees to <br />adjust intensity if requested by the City. <br /> <br />3. The owner acknowledges that the City has adopted a moratorium on new electronic <br />message signs and affirms that the replacement sign’s capabilities will remain unchanged <br />as a result of its replacement. <br /> <br />4. The sign shall not flash, strobe or mimic traffic control lights. Live video feeds or <br />video clips shall not be displayed on the sign. <br /> <br />5. The owner agrees to remove or modify any content deemed a violation of City Code. <br /> <br />6.
