Item 6A <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 7074 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />PROCLAIMING April 24, 2007 AS “ARBOR DAY” <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has been recognized for <br />consecutive years as Tree City USA by the National Arbor Day Foundation for its <br />efforts in urban forestry; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, trees in our City beautify our surroundings, shade our parks <br />and residences, increase property values and enhance the economic vitality of <br />business areas, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS , boy scouts and citizens will be planting trees at Random <br />Park. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that April 24, 2007 be declared <br />Arbor Day in Mounds View and public-spirited and foresighted citizens be called <br />upon to assist in the planting of trees now for the use and enjoyment of present <br />and future generations. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 23rd day of April, 2007 <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL) ___________________________________ <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(ATTEST): ___________________________________ <br />Kurt Ulrich, Clerk/Administrator <br />
