<br />1010.08 1010.08 (Rev. 8/97) <br /> <br /> b. Processing of Application: (Ord. 602, 8-25-97) <br /> <br /> (1) The permit application shall be submitted to the City. The City shall process the <br />permit application according to the provisions of this Section 1010.08 hereof. For <br />permits requiring City Council action, the Community Development Department shall <br />prepare a report and recommendation for consideration by City Council prior to the <br />City Council taking action on the permit application. The Community Development <br />Department or the City Council may refer the permit application to the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission for its recommendation prior to action being taken on the permit <br />application. (Ord. 602, 8-25-97) <br /> <br /> (2) A wetland alteration permit may be processed concurrently with any other <br />application for use permit approval that may be required under other provisions of the <br />Municipal Code. (Ord. 602, 8-25-97) <br /> <br /> C. Action on Permit; Conditions: <br /> <br /> (1) Compliance with standards: No wetland alteration or wetland buffer permit shall <br />be approved except it meet the standards set forth in Section 1010.08, subdivision 4. A <br />permit may be approved subject to conditions reasonable and necessary to ensure <br />compliance with the aforementioned standards in subdivision 4. Such conditions may, <br />among other matters: (Ord. 602, 8-25-97) <br /> <br /> (a) Provide for the enhancement of storm water storage, fish and wildlife <br />habitat, and water quality enhancement functions of wetland zoning districts; <br />(Ord. 602, 8-25-97) <br /> <br /> (b) Provide for enhancement of recreation and education opportunities in <br />wetland zoning districts; <br /> <br /> (c) Limit the size, kind or character of the proposed work; <br /> <br /> (d) Require the construction of storm water detention facilities or other <br />structures; <br /> <br /> (e) Require replacement of vegetation; <br /> <br /> (f) Establish required monitoring or maintenance procedures, including the <br />payment of costs for such procedures; <br /> <br /> (g) Stage the work over time and increments of land to be developed; <br /> <br /> (h) Require the alteration of the site design to insure buffering; <br /> <br /> (i) Require posting of sufficient surety to guarantee conformance to the <br />purposes of the permit and all laws regulating the activity; or (Ord. 602, 8-25- <br />97)
