The Metro average is $935. Staff <br /> is recommending an increase to $800. <br /> Liquor Investigation Fees <br /> Currently, the City charges a fee of $250 for liquor and wine license <br /> investigations. The charge for a partnerhip, corporation is $330 for both <br /> wine and liquor. The majority of cities in the Metro area separate wine and <br /> liquor as well as single applicant, partnership and corporation. Staff is <br /> recommending the separation and increases to the Metro average. At the <br /> present time, the increase would not affect any establishment. However, it <br /> would be applicable to future owners. <br /> General licenses, permits, fees <br /> The attached resolution indicates by underlining all license, permit and <br /> fee changes staff is recommending for Council consideration. Many were <br /> determined by comparison, taking into account the different methods and <br /> formulas being used by comparable cities. The fees and permits regarding <br /> zoning, variances, PUD ammendments were discussed the the January work <br /> session as were many of the other recommended changes. <br /> Please note that staff is recommending that all licenses be subject to a <br /> 10% late payment fee. <br /> The attached resolution has been prepared with the recommended revised <br /> license, permit and fee structure. <br />
