RESOLUTION 7090 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING A SERVICE CONTRACT FOR THE CITY HALL ELEVATOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the one year warranty on the renovated City Hall elevator <br />expired at the end of April; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, according to various state and federal regulations, monthly <br />service and systems checks must be performed on this elevator; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, there were three companies that submitted quotes for a <br />service contract for the City Hall elevator; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, All City Elevator did the upgrading of the elevator during the <br />City Hall Rehabilitation project as well as the emergency telephone in the <br />elevator is currently programmed to call All City Elevator when used; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due to their familiarity with the elevator, staff recommends <br />that All City Elevator continue to provide these services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this would be a two year contract and would automatically be <br />renewed for successive one (1) year periods thereafter unless either party serves <br />written notice to cancel. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. That a service contract with All City Elevator for the maintenance of <br />the City Hall elevator is hereby awarded. <br /> <br />2. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into said contracts. <br /> <br />3.
