Tentative Approval: The approval of a preliminary plat of a major subdivision <br />by the Council is tentative only, involving merely the general acceptability of the <br />layout as submitted. The Council shall not permit the installation of any public <br />improvements in the proposed plat unless the preliminary plat is approved. <br />Preliminary plat approval is conditioned upon compliance with all requirements <br />deemed necessary to preserve neighborhood aesthetics or protect the health, <br />safety and welfare of neighboring landowners and the future residents within the <br />subdivision. <br /> <br />1202.05: NECESSARY DATA FOR FINAL PLAT: <br /> <br />* * * <br /> <br />Subd. 2. Any other information as may be required by the Planning and Zoning <br />Commission, or Council or city staff that is deemed to be in the interest of the <br />public’s health, safety or welfare. <br /> <br />1202.07: FINAL PLAT APPROVAL PROCEDURE: <br /> <br />* * * <br /> <br />Subd. 2. Conformance to Preliminary Plat: <br /> <br />* * * <br /> <br />b. The Clerk-Administrator shall examine the final plat to determine whether it <br />conforms to the preliminary plat, as approved., including, but not limited to, <br />compliance with all requirements deemed necessary to preserve neighborhood <br />aesthetics or to protect the health, safety and welfare of neighboring landowners <br />and the future residents within the subdivision. <br /> <br />c. If the Clerk-Administrator determines that the final plat, as submitted, does not <br />conform with the terms of the Council approval of the preliminary plat, including, <br />but not limited to, compliance with all requirements deemed necessary to <br />preserve neighborhood aesthetics or to protect the health, safety and welfare of <br />neighboring landowners and the future residents within the subdivision, the
