Tentative Approval: The approval of a preliminary plat of a major subdivision by the Council is tentative only, involving merely the general acceptability of the layout as submitted. The Council shall not permit the installation of any public improvements in the proposed plat unless the preliminary plat is approved. Preliminary plat approval is conditioned upon compliance with all requirements deemed necessary to preserve neighborhood aesthetics or protect the health, safety and welfare of neighboring landowners and the future residents within the subdivision. 1202.05: NECESSARY DATA FOR FINAL PLAT: * * * Subd. 2.
