Explanation/Summary (attach supplement sheets as necessary.) SUMMARY: The Mounds View Trailways Advocacy Group will be presenting the proposal for a Trailways System at the Monday, May 4 Work Session. Linka Holey will present the goals and objectives that was established by the group. Also, a resolution will be presented for consideration. Tom Fields will walk the Council through the trailway routes noting linkages and connections to neighboring trailways. In your packet you will find the proposal. This proposal is expected to be outdated as time goes on. New opportunities may arise for trailway development which would need to be added. Trails which become developed will need to be indicated on the map. For this reason the TAG wishes to remain a viable group meeting approximately once each quarter or as necessary. This proposal will be reviewed and updated as changes, developments, opportunities become available. The seven to nine consistent members of the TAG have been a great group of workers. They have worked as a team, discussing, debating, cooperating, compromising and finally completing a project for the benefit of the Community. My hat goes off to this group of residents which I think did a tremendous job!
