<br />RESOLUTION 7146 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLTUION ACCEPTING A DONATION FROM BETHLEHEM BAPTIST CHURCH <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bethlehem Baptist Church has generously supported activities that <br />have benefited the residents of Mounds View; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Bethlehem Baptist Church would like to continue that support by <br />making a contribution to the City of Mounds View of $15,918 to support the following <br />below: <br /> <br />1. $6,632.50 to support STAND program and the SAIL program for students <br />attending Edgewood Middle School; <br /> <br />2. $6,632.50 to the Mounds View Park and Recreation Department for <br />ongoing park improvement projects; <br /> <br />3. Bethlehem Baptist Church additionally recommends that the second half <br />donation of the 2007 “TIF Note Gift” of $2,653 be placed in the EDA Fund <br />to be used for activities that continue to support the economic climate of <br />the City of Mounds View; and <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City Council <br />gratefully acknowledges the donation of $15,918 from Bethlehem Baptist Church and <br />amends the 2007 Budget accordingly. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 27th day of August, 2007 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />_____________________________________ <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />____________________________________ <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />(seal) <br />
