Mounds View City Council August 27, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br />Mayor Marty questioned overtime salaries and part time, and asked whether this much is needed. 1 <br />Mayor Marty would like to reduce that amount. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Council eliminated other professional services of $1,000. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Mayor Marty asked whether mileage could be reduced to $700.00. 6 <br /> 7 <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated that his mileage has averaged approximately $600.00, and 8 <br />with the addition of other staff in the department he would suggest that it be reduced to no less 9 <br />than $800.00. 10 <br /> 11 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Stigney. To Table the Budget Discussion Until After the Regular 12 <br />Council Business Provided it Does Not Go Past 10:00 p.m. 13 <br /> 14 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Council Member Stigney said that the City Administrator has not gone through the budget for 17 <br />further reductions but will do so for the work session. 18 <br /> 19 <br /> 20 <br /> B. Presentation to the Ralph R. Reeder Food Shelf from the Festival in the Park 21 <br /> Car and Tractor Show 22 <br /> 23 <br />Council Member Mueller indicated that $150.00 was raised for the Food Shelf at the Festival in 24 <br />the Park Car and Tractor Show.
