Resolution 7090 Approving a Service Contract for the City Hall Elevator 22 <br /> 23 <br />Acting Mayor Stigney indicated that he feels that for the amount of elevator usage the City Hall 24 <br />experiences he feels that it would be possible to have an annual or semi-annual contract, rather 25 <br />than quarterly. 26 <br /> 27 <br />Public Works Director Lee indicated that Staff asked the bidders and none of them do annual or 28 <br />semi annual maintenance. 29 <br /> 30 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Postpone to Allow Staff Time to Research Semi-Annual 31 <br />or Annual Maintenance Contracts. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Council Member Flaherty asked if Staff knows what the state and federal regulations for testing 34 <br />are. He then said that it may require quarterly testing. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Acting Mayor Stigney indicated that a “no load” test is required annually. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Council Member Flaherty said that he would not want there to be the potential of any issues with 39 <br />the elevator over $97.00 per quarter. He then said that he would like the Staff to follow state or 40 <br />federal guidelines and let that dictate the type of contract the City enters into. 41 <br /> 42 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 43 <br /> 44
