<br />ORDINANCE NO. 785 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AN ORDINANCE ADDING TREE PRESERVATION & <br />LANDSCAPING REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br /> <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW DOES HEREBY ORDAIN: <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Chapter 1103, Section 1103.08 subd. 4, “Landscaping Required”, is hereby <br />amended with the proposed addition underlined: <br /> <br />1103.08: FENCING, SCREENING AND LANDSCAPING <br /> <br />Subd. 4. Landscaping Required: In all zoning districts, the lot area remaining after <br />providing for off-street parking, off-street loading, sidewalks, driveway, building site <br />and/or other requirements shall be planted and maintained in grass, sodding, shrubs or <br />other acceptable vegetation or treatment generally used in landscaping. The <br />requirements of Chapter 1127.05 must be met for all new developments in the R- <br />3, R-4, B-1, B-2, B-3, B-4, I-1 and PUD districts. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The City Council of the City of Mounds View, has hereby determined that <br />the Mounds View Zoning Code be amended by adding a Tree Preservation & <br />Landscaping Ordinance as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />CHAPTER 1127 <br /> <br />TREE PRESERVATION & LANDSCAPING <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION: <br /> <br />1127.01: Purpose <br />1127.02: Definitions <br />1127.03: General Tree Protection Requirements <br />1127.04: Tree Removal on Lots With Construction or Grading Permits <br />1127.05: Landscaping Requirements <br />1127.06 Plan Review Process <br />1127.07 Appeal Process <br />1127.08 Violation and Penalties <br /> <br />
