<br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff recommends approval of purchasing these gift certificates to recognize the <br />achievements, and will be presenting a Resolution at the March 12, 2007, City Council <br />Meeting to authorize the purchase. <br /> <br /> <br />Employee Recognition Policy <br /> <br />Attached Resolution 5617, passed in October 2001, establishes a City Policy for the <br />employee appreciation event and provides that the City of Mounds View will present <br />plaques ($60 max.) to retirees with 10 years of service at regularly scheduled City Council <br />meetings. <br /> <br />In consideration of long-term employees that have left employment, but not “retired” staff <br />recommends that the City Council consider awarding a plaque of appreciation to any <br />employee (not just retirees) with 10 years or more of service.
