Staff has attempted to secure additional information about ridership such as destinations <br />and the number of Mounds View residents participating, but has been unsuccessful up to <br />this point. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />With limited City resources, staff is cannot recommend increasing expenditures for City <br />services beyond the core services we currently provide. However, this may be an <br />important service to some of our residents, and the City may be able to assist in some <br />fashion. It is recommended that the Council (or the Mayors/managers group) consider <br />meeting with School District to learn more about the benefits of the program and how cities <br />might be able to help, without committing to funding at this time.
