<br />Operations of the Mounds View Community Center <br />The Commission would like discussion and clarification on what role they should <br />play with regard to the Mounds View Community Center. <br /> <br />Attendance of the Commission at City Council Meetings <br />The Commission would like discussion regarding the City Council’s preference <br />on whether they think the Commission should attend more City Council meetings <br />– individually or as a group. <br /> <br />Bethlehem Baptist Church – Donation Process and Procedure <br />The Bethlehem Baptist Church donates $25,000 annually ($12,500 semi- <br />annually) to organizations and causes of their choosing. The Commission would <br />like discussion regarding the process and procedure of this donation and how <br />they can play an active role. The Commission would like to discuss whether a <br />formal committee could be developed or City representatives identified to assist <br />in working with the Bethlehem Baptist Church so as to provide a list of park- <br />related needs that could be considered as candidates for donations. <br /> <br />Number of Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commissioners? <br />With the recent submittals of applications and subsequent appointments to the <br />various City commissioner positions for 2007, the Parks and Recreation and <br />Forestry Commissioners would like discussion regarding the number of <br />commissioners that best serves the community and achieves the best results. <br /> <br />Other Topics? <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />The Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commissioners thank the City Council <br />for the opportunity to discuss these matters. <br /> <br />Staff is looking for direction on these matters.
