Item No: 07J <br />Meeting Date: January 9, 2006 <br />Type of Business: CB <br />City Administrator Review: _____ <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Desaree Crane, Assistant to City Administrator <br /> <br />Item Title/Subject: Consideration of Resolution 6714 Authorizing a <br />Temporary One-Day Charitable Gambling Permit for <br />the Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce to <br />conduct charitable gambling at The Mermaid on <br />February 18, 2006 <br /> <br /> <br />The Twin Cities North Chamber of Commerce would like to hold a charitable <br />gambling event (raffle) at The Mermaid on February 18, 2006. The Twin Cities <br />North Chamber of Commerce currently holds a charitable gambling License at <br />Mounds View Jake’s Sports Café. All supporting documentation in regard to their <br />non-profit status is on file with the Minnesota State Gambling Control Board. <br /> <br />The Lions currently hold a charitable gambling license at the Mermaid.
