RESOLUTION 6726 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A SECURITY CARD <br />READING SYSTEM AT CITY HALL AND THE COMMUNITY CENTER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, plans for the City Hall Rehabilitation Project included a <br />security card reading system to be installed at City Hall, as well as the <br />Community Center; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, quotes for the installation of a security card reading system at <br />City Hall and the Community Center were solicited; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, quotes for installation of a security card reading system at <br />City Hall and the Community Center were solicited and a total of three (3) quotes <br />were received with the low quote submitted by UHL Company in the amount of <br />$17,800.00; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Special Projects Fund (Account No. 280-4160-7050) is <br />recommended to fund this installation. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br /> <br />1. A contract for the installation of a security card reading system at <br />City Hall and the Community Center is awarded to UHL Company <br />in the amount of $17,800.00. <br /> <br />2. The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into a contract with said contractor, contingent on <br />City legal Counsel approval. <br /> <br />3.
