<br /> <br />CITY RESOLUTION NO. 6777 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br />APPROVING THE AMENDED BANQUET CENTER MANAGEMENT, <br />CATERING AND FOOD SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH CANYON CATERING <br />BEGINNING APRIL 1, 2006 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City is the owner of the Mounds View Community Center <br />at 5394 Edgewood Drive in the City of Mounds View, and the Mounds View <br />Banquet Center (MVBC) is located in the M.V. Community Center; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on August 23, 2004 the City of Mounds View selected <br />Canyon Grille as the new Manager of the MVBC following a Request for <br />Proposals (RFP) process; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City seeks to Amend the November 2004 “Banquet <br />Center Management, Catering and Food Service Agreement” to succeed the <br />Agreement that expires on April 1, 2006; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Canyon Grille, otherwise known as Canyon Catering, agrees <br />to lease 11,537 sq. ft. of space in the M.V. Community Center, including the <br />ballroom, hallways, storage, and bathrooms; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Canyon Catering agrees to pay a monthly lease amount of <br />$2,000 per month subject to all terms and conditions expressed in the amended <br />agreement, Appendix A, attached; and, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Mounds View City <br />Council hereby approve the amended Management, Catering and Food Service <br />Agreement with Canyon Grille of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, operating as Canyon <br />Catering, as the next Manager for the Mounds View Banquet Center beginning <br />April 1, 2006. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 13th day of March 2006 by <br />the City of Mounds View. <br /> <br /> <br />________________________________ <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br />
