when atmospheric conditions or local circumstances make such <br /> fires hazardous. } <br /> {63.06} 63.04. ESTABLISHMENT AND DUTIES OF BUREAU OF <br /> FIRE PREVENTION_ <br /> Subdivision 1. Enforcement. The Minnesota Uniform <br /> Fire Code shall be enforced by the Bureau of Fire Prevention <br /> in the Fire Department under contract with the city, which <br /> is hereby established and which shall be operated under the <br /> supervision of the Chief of the Fire Department. <br /> Subdivision 2. Inspectors. The Chief of the Fire <br /> Department may detail such members of the Fire Department as <br /> members of the Bureau of Fire Prevention and as inspectors <br /> as shall from time to time be necessary. <br /> Subdivision 3. Annual Report. A report of the Bureau <br /> of Fire Prevention shall be made annually and transmitted to <br /> the Council. <br /> {Subdivision 4. Fire Inspector. The city shall <br /> appoint a fire inspector to handle routine inspections and <br /> fire prevention code violations, including, but not limited <br /> to routine inspections of the schools, commercial buildings, <br /> industrial buildings, and multiple dwelling occupancies. <br /> The appointed fire inspector shall be responsible for the <br /> enforcement of these routine inspection matters. All other <br /> matters currently handled by the fire department come under <br /> the direction of the Fire Chief, shall remain the function <br /> on the Fire Department. } <br /> Subdivision 4. Fire Inspector. Refer to the Fire <br /> Inspection Protocol Amendment No. 1 put into effect on <br /> 06/01/87. <br /> 63 _ <br /> All Fire Department Permit Fees shall be set in <br /> accordance with a fee schedule adopted by resolution of the <br /> city council. <br /> 63.06. DETERMINATION OF NEW MATERIALS, PROCESSES OR <br /> OCCUPANCIES THAT REQUIRE PERMITS_ <br /> The city council and the Chief of the Fire Department <br /> shall act as a committee to determine and specify. after <br /> giving affected persons an opportunity to be heard. any new <br /> materials. processes or occupancies. which shall require <br /> Hermits. in addition to those pow enumerated in said code. <br /> The Chief of the Fire Department shall post such list in a <br /> conspicuous place in his office and distribute copies. <br /> thereof to interested persons. <br />
