I <br /> • <br /> . • <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 <br /> ?IRE INSPECTION PROTOCOL <br /> WHEREAS , it is the desire of the City of Mounds View to <br /> contract with the Spring Lake Park-Blaine-Mounds View Fire <br /> Department to provide certain fire inspection services on a <br /> interim basis, and <br /> WHEREAS , the Spring Lake Park-Blaine-Mounds View Fire <br /> Department has met with the. City of Mounds View and agreed to the <br /> request of the City. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the following 'provisions of Amendment No. 1 <br /> to the Fire Inspection .Protocol are hereby agreed to. <br /> 1 . The Fire Department will inspect all occupancies <br /> in areas covered by the Uniform Fire Code except <br /> multiple dwellings. <br /> 2. Multiple dwellings will be inspected under the folowing <br /> • conditions : • <br /> a . Requested by City Staff. <br /> b. Requested by Occupant/Manager/Owner of building. <br /> c . Deficiency noted on a fire call to the building . <br /> The City shall be notified of all inspections Undertaken <br /> as a result of 2.b. or 2.c. as listed above and the <br /> reasons for those inspections prior to said inspection. <br /> 3. An—ana .yg4n of the current- cif-y ordinance relating to • <br /> fire-prevention/inspection will be made and suggested <br /> amendments , if any, willbeforwarded to- the Clerk- <br /> Administrator for further discussion. <br /> 4. The Fire Department will submit periodic reports to the <br /> Clerk-Administrator as to the progress being made, <br /> problems encountered , etc. . <br /> 5. The Fire Department will bill the City monthly for the <br /> inspection services listed above as a supplemental fire <br /> budget item. Permit fees collected by the Fire Depart- <br /> ment will be deducted from the total amount due . <br /> ••• ..• <br /> • <br />
