Wilson J,41)10 <br /> Executive Director <br /> SUBJECT: 1991 Franchise Fees for 1992 Budgets <br /> I have received a couple of telephone calls for estimates <br /> of franchise fee and Cable Commission payments for 1992 <br /> budgets, so I prepared the attached chart for your <br /> information. <br /> The first column represents the cable company' s franchise <br /> fee estimates. The total amount, however, is 22 . 4% higher <br /> than the 1990 fees they paid this year, and I would be <br /> reluctant to use them for budgeting. The third and fourth <br /> columns show each city' s franchise fee based on a 10% and <br /> 15% increase in the total franchise fees paid by the <br /> company.
