Proposal for <br /> Water Storage <br /> r- Analysis <br /> U <br /> Mounds View, Mn <br /> I <br /> Project Scope <br /> SEH will analyze and make recommendations concerning the <br /> capacity and location of the City's current and future water storage <br /> facilities. This analysis will be completed in accordance with the <br /> following general work procedure for the basic services requested: <br /> 1. Analyze total system storage needs based on current and <br /> jprojected water use patterns. <br /> 2. Review and analyze available sites for the construction of new <br /> storage facilities. <br /> 3. Compare the cost and operational effects of constructing new <br /> elevated storage versus rehabilitating current facilities. <br /> 4. Provide computer analysis of the City water system under <br /> average and emergency (peak) demand situations for the four <br /> requested scenarios. <br /> Computer analyses for additional scenarios may be desired. They <br /> Mmay include but not be limited to the following: <br /> 1. Confirm the size of the T.H. 10 water main crossing needed at <br /> Long Lake Road. <br /> 2. Confirm the need for a water main loop to the Hillview Road/ <br /> Pleasant View Drive intersection. <br /> 3. For water storage facilities considered in the northeast portion of <br /> the City, review the possibility of serving the proposed golf <br /> course, the Watson property, and providing fire flow to the <br /> SYSCO development. <br /> 4. Additional crossings of T.H. 10 if desired. <br /> A bound report will be completed within two weeks of <br /> authorization to proceed. <br /> I <br /> I <br /> Short-Elliott-Hendrickson, Inc.
