Planning Case No. 326-91 <br /> Administrator's Review/Recommendation: <br /> - No comments to supplement this report <br /> - Comments attached. <br /> Explanation/Summary (attach supplement sheets as necessary.) <br /> SUMMARY: <br /> Mr. Alan Brevitz, representing Conoco, Inc., has made application for the rezoning of property located at 2740 <br /> Highway 10. Currently, the property is zoned B-2, Limited Business. The applicant is requesting that the <br /> property be rezoned to B-3, Highway Commercial. <br /> Chapter 42.05, Subdivision A(5) of the Mounds View Municipal Code lists five(5) criteria which shall be <br /> considered in any rezoning request. These criteria are as follows: <br /> - Relationship to municipal comprehensive plan <br /> - The geographical area involved <br /> - Whether such use will tend to or actually depreciate the area in which it is proposed <br /> - The character of the surrounding area <br /> - The demonstrated need for such a use <br /> The Comprehensive Plan currently designates this property as mixed use planned unit development(PUD). <br /> The Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed this item at their July 17, 1991 Agenda session and will be <br /> taking formal action on the request at their August 7, 1991 meeting. <br /> I have included all appropriate materials submitted as part of the request.
