MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL la <br /> FROM: SAMANTHA ORDUNO, CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br /> DATE: JUNE 27, 1991 <br /> RE: JOINT MEETING OF THE COUNCILS OF MOUNDS VIEW, SPRING <br /> LAKE PARK, NEW BRIGHTON AND FRIDLEY <br /> A meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 10th at 7 :30 p.m. <br /> at the Bunker Hills Activity Center in Coon Rapids, to discuss <br /> the proposed Quad-City Senior Center. All members of the <br /> participating cities are urged to attend. <br /> The purpose of the meeting is to present the report to the <br /> Councils on the feasiblity, site selection and funding process <br /> for the proposed center. <br /> Based on the meetings of the representatives of the four <br /> cities, it is recommended that the Councils appoint a twenty- <br /> one (21) member Senior Center Task Force to examine in depth <br /> the implementation process proposed in the Feasibility Report. <br /> A meeting will be held on June 28th to finalize the report <br /> details and to also examine issues affecting the school <br /> districts involved. <br /> Additional information will be provided prior to the joint <br /> meeting of the Councils on July 10th. <br /> so/mjs <br />
