Senior Center Committee Meeting <br /> June 7, 1991 <br /> Page Three <br /> It was also suggested that the senior center task force report <br /> first to the various park boards in the four jurisdictions and then <br /> to the city councils. It was also suggested that as many committee <br /> members as possible from our committee be invited to attend the <br /> task force meetings. <br /> We addressed a potential schedule and decided the following: <br /> 1. Between July 10 and September 1, 1991, each council will <br /> discuss the ideas presented in the report with their <br /> representative to the task force. <br /> 2 . The task force will meet between September 1 and <br /> December 1, 1991. <br /> 3 . The task force proposal would be considered by the <br /> various park boards and city councils by December 31, <br /> 1991. <br /> 4. A meeting with our State legislative delegation will be <br /> scheduled for sometime in December, 1991. <br /> 5. Special district legislation will be prepared by <br /> February 1, 1992 . <br /> 6. Land acquisition and design for the senior center project <br /> are to be completed by January 1, 1993. <br /> 7. The construction phase is to occur between March and <br /> September 1, 1993. <br /> 8 . Staffing of the senior center is to be complete by <br /> July 1, 1993 . <br /> 9 . The senior center will open on September 1, 1993 . <br /> Having reviewed the above, it was determined that the senior center <br /> report would be prepared during the last week in June, 1991, and <br /> made available to the committee members. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at approximately 3 : 50 p.m. <br /> WWB:rsc <br /> Attachments <br />
