Mounds View City Council Page Seven <br /> Regular Meeting June 10, 1991 <br /> Mayor Linke also announced that Congressman Bruce Vento held a Press <br /> Conference at Mounds View City Hall at 11:30 this morning. <br /> Congressman Vento stated that new legislation introduced which <br /> will require automatic shut off valves for pipelines through the <br /> nation. <br /> Mounds View has shut off valves at both ends of the City. Mayor <br /> Linke <br /> believed that Mounds View was the only City in the nation that had <br /> shut off valves in their City at this time. These shut off valves <br /> will be placed every 5 miles in densely populated areas . Mayor Linke <br /> publicly thanked Congressman Vento. <br /> REPORT OF ADMINISTRATOR: <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator introduced and reviewed an item <br /> that was inadvertently left off of the Consent Agenda. This item was <br /> a 6 month step increase, based on performance, for Paul Harrington, <br /> City Planner. Orduno recommended approval Resolution No. 4090 <br /> Authorizing a Wage Adjustment for Paul Harrington, Planner. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Wuori/Blanchard to adopt Resolution No. <br /> 4090 Authorizing a Wage Adjustment for Paul Harrington, <br /> Planner <br /> Mayor Linke commented that Paul Harrington has done an excellent <br /> job for the City. <br /> 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Orduno also announed that there will be a meeting of the Western <br /> Ramsey County Cooperative Committee at New Brighton City Hall on <br /> June 26 at 7 :00 p.m. <br /> City Administrator Orduno__and Oo� lm� ber Wueri will—be attending <br /> the League of Minnesota Cities Conference in Rochester tomorrow <br /> through Friday. <br /> REPORT OF ATTORNEY: <br /> City Attorney Karney reported that he met with Ric Minetor, Public Works <br /> Director and Mike Ulrich, Public Works Foreman to obtain answers for the <br /> Emergency Portection Agency's questionnaire and mailed it on May 30 in <br /> order to meet a May 31 deadline. <br /> City Attorney Barney, Public Works Director Minetor and Public Works <br /> Foreman Ulrich concurred that in their belief the City had not contributed <br /> hazardous waste to the Oak Park Dump Site. <br />
