<br />RESOLUTION NO. 6694 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO CONTRACT WITH G & H CONSULTANTS LLC <br />FOR PLAN REVIEW SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH <br />THE MEDTRONIC CRM PHASE 1 CONSTRUCTION <br /> <br />WHEREAS, providing high quality and timely plan review for Phase 1 of the <br />Medtronic CRM project is a priority for the City; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View has requested quotes from qualified <br />consultants to provide plan review services associated with the Medtronic CRM Phase 1 <br />construction project; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City received five responses from qualified consultants with <br />fees ranging from $34,183 and $190,600; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, one proposal did not include a total fee and others could not <br />estimate the length of time it would take to complete the review; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the consultant team of Katherine Gove and Gary Hagedorn <br />doing business as G & H Consultants LLC submitted the lowest proposal of $34,183; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Gove and Hagedorn have agreed to provide additional plan <br />review assistance to be included with the estimated fee of $34,183 providing the City with <br />significant potential cost savings. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View authorizes execution of an agreement with G & H Consultants LLC to <br />provide plan review services for Phase 1 of the Medtronic CRM development with <br />compensation set at 25% of the plan review fees collected for Phase 1, not to exceed <br />$34,183. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the costs for these <br />plan review services will be paid from the collected Medtronic plan review fees. <br /> <br />Adopted this 9th day of January 2006. <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br />T: <br />ATTEST: <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL)
